My office at school had a view of the lake. Everyday, for three years, I took the lake’s picture sending the photographs in a mass email to friends and colleagues. The resultant photo essay and written responses became part of a series of installations at various locations around Chicago: Gallery 400 at UIC, University of Chicago, Hyde Park Arts Center, Mess Hall and Experimental Station. The original essay numbered over 1200 photographs.
